The Directors of Sandwell UK Ltd, Colin McGrory and Liz Slater, established the company in 1997 with the core values of providing consistently high quality processing combined with excellent customer service. These values have been motivational and a key to the continuing success of Sandwell and remain at the heart of the company.
As of October 2018 Sandwell’s quality management system has been certified to the AS9100D & BS EN ISO 9001:2015 standard though it’s auditor NQA.

To demonstrate their continued commitment to quality, Sandwell UK Ltd have been successful in achieving Nadcap® accreditation for Surface Enhancement.

Within a year of moving into their purpose built facility and during one of the toughest years for a generation with the upheaval that Covid has brought about Sandwell still managed to work through all of this to gain their Nadcap accreditation.
Nadcap is a global process approval system devised by Airbus, Boeing, Rolls Royce, GE Aviation, Bombardier, Lockheed and many other aerospace companies to ensure the highest level of quality and conformance within the aerospace industry.
The aim of the Nadcap® program is to assess process capability for compliance to industry standards and customer requirements. By achieving Nadcap® accreditation, Sandwell UK Ltd has demonstrated their compliance.
Sandwell have been audited and added to the approved supplier list of various motorsport and high performance engineering companies, including the majority of the teams making up the Formula One grid.
